Chemical Regulatory SaaS Platform – UX/UI Design & Front-End Contribution

Role: UX/UI Design & Front-End Contribution

Overview
The project included two core applications — Chemius (focused on chemical regulatory compliance) and Allchemist (tailored for the paint and coatings industry). Both apps share the same core functionality, but differ in design and marketing approach. When I joined, the application was already in active use with a few views, though the design and structure were inconsistent. To avoid disrupting existing users, we introduced improvements gradually, refining usability and ensuring a consistent design system over time.

Key Contributions

  • Conducted research and testing with in-house consultants (application users)

  • Created wireframes and user flows for new functionalities

  • Designed UX/UI layouts and interactive prototypes

  • Wrote detailed specifications for an international development team

  • Performed testing and quality assurance to ensure usability and consistency

  • Independently solved and fixed front-end development tasks using Angular

  • Main Menu: Core navigation with icons linking to all primary and subviews

  • Header: Space for breadcrumbs, titles, and main view functions

  • Submenu: Dedicated area for tabs and steps

  • Left Sidebar: Section for submenus and contextual information

  • Main Content Area:

    • Top navigation menu for back navigation or other buttons

    • Tables and primary view content

    • Bottom sticky bar with action buttons

  • Right Sidebar: Lists selected items and provides action buttons to finalize tasks and go to the next view
